We spent the better part of a year planning four days, and then the four days went past in about an hour. What we remember is not the schedule. It is the people who travelled a long way to get there, who danced considerably longer than they had planned to, who stayed up through the phere and were somehow upright again for the vidaai.
A wedding is really just a room full of people who decided your day was worth rearranging theirs for. We have not stopped thinking about that.
We have been going back through the photographs ever since. This is where we are keeping them.
